Victoria Police have questioned a teenage boy over the AFL nude scandal after explicit images were leaked of a number of footy stars.
Cyber crime detectives spoke to a 17-year-old boy on Monday in relation to the scandal dubbed ‘dikileaks’ involving as many as 45 past and present players.
However, at this stage there is insufficient evidence to make charges.
Last month, the footy world was rocked after news of the leak emerged, with five Brownlow medallists allegedly included in the file which was widely shared on social media.
One past player who was embroiled in the scandal told News Corp that it was ‘a gross breach of privacy’.

A Google drive containing a list of player names with folders of images purporting to be them was widely shared on social media last month
The AFL has been working with the eSafety Commissioner and Google technicians to remove the Google Drive document and images.
Brownlow Medallist Jimmy Bartel was among leading names to slam the leak, labelling the person behind it as ‘disgusting’.
‘It’s gross – a majority of images are fake, made up, staged,’ Bartel said at the time.
‘It’s someone grubby who will hopefully get caught.
‘This is a criminal matter now.’
In a statement, Victoria Police confirmed on Thursday that detectives had spoken to a teenage boy with regards ‘to a number of explicit images of AFL players being circulated online.’
‘The 17-year-old was spoken to by police on 31 July, however at this time there is insufficient evidence in relation to any applicable charges.’
