Update: Missing Mom-of-3 (Michelle Reynolds) Middle School Teacher Mysteriously Vanishes
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 48-year-old middle school teacher, Michelle Reynolds, has not been seen or heard from since the afternoon of September 22. Her husband, Michael Reynolds, told KHOU that his wife’s disappearance is shrouded in mystery, as it’s not like her to disappear.
“She said that she was going to get something to eat and she never returned,” Michael said.
On Saturday, Michael tracked his wife’s SUV to New Orleans using a geolocation gadget on the vehicle. He claimed Michelle wasn’t in the car, but that her phone and other possessions were. Authorities have already started searching in Louisiana and Texas.
Her personal belongings were still in the car once we were able to open it, but she was not, according to Michael. “She hasn’t used her phone. The automobile contained her phone. Although it was off, her phone was charged.
“I am heading back to Houston now because I have three children. My daughter is having a really tough time and so is my 13-year-old daughter and my 11-year-old son as well,” Michael continued.
“Please be on the lookout for Michelle. We love her and miss her dearly. We’re doing everything we can to bring her home safe.”
Michelle is a 6th-grade teacher at Fairview Junior High School in Alvin, Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
“Alvin ISD has reached out to the Reynolds family and has been assisting the family during this difficult time,” a school district spokesperson said.
Michelle is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-10-inches tall with a thin build. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Authorities in Texas are working with police in Louisiana to locate a missing junior high school teacher after her car was found in New Orleans.
Brazoria County Sheriff Bo Stallman said 48-year-old Michelle Reynolds was reported missing by her husband on Sept. 22 and hasn’t been seen since.
WVUE reports that the 48-year-old teacher was driving a Lexus RX 300 with Texas license plates, which was recently located in New Orleans.
However, Reynolds was not found with her car, and authorities said the junior high school teacher has not made contact with family or friends since going missing.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said it wasn’t immediately clear if Reynolds has a connection to the New Orleans area.
Reynolds is a teacher at Fairview Junior High in the Alvin Independent School District.
The school district shared the following statement regarding the situation:

We were made aware that one of our employees, Michelle Reynolds, has not been heard from since Thursday afternoon. Alvin ISD has reached out to the Reynolds family and has been assisting the family during this difficult time. If you have any information, please contact the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office.”
