A woman stabbed in front of horrified shoppers at a rural shopping centre has been rushed to hospital.
The 21-year-old woman entered the Wyong Police Station, on New South Wales’ Central Coast, about 10am on Sunday with multiple wounds to her arm and back.
She was airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital in the Toll Rescue helicopter in a stable condition. Her injuries are deemed non-life threatening.

Police have established a crime scene at the Westfield in Tuggerah Lakes, about 10km south of the police station, which will undergo a forensic investigation.
