In December 2016 Nasser was indicted on child pornography charges in a seperate case, to which he later pled guilty.

In 2017 Nassar faced an additional 22 charges of sexual assault, while more and more victims came forward.

On November 29 2017, he pled guilty to three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct.
