Woman, 33, ‘drunkenly attacked cabin crew and verbally abused passengers on TUI flight from Manchester to Cuba after she tried to access ‘premium area’ of the plane’

A woman has appeared in court accused of attacking cabin crew after getting drunk on board a holiday jet.
Zoe Alexander, 33, is said have become ‘aggressive’ and ‘kicked out’ out at staff and verbally abused passengers on a TUI flight from Manchester to Cuba.
Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard how Alexander allegedly became drunk and ‘more intoxicated’ on the flight and tried to access a ‘premium area’ of the plane.
The captain of the plane was alerted and he contacted authorities on the ground, the court heard, and Alexander was arrested when she arrived on the return flight to Manchester.
Alexander spoke to confirm her name, address and date of birth when she appeared in the dock.

No pleas were entered to the charges against her of being drunk on an aircraft, three counts of assault and two counts of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour.
But she indicated she denied being drunk on the aircraft.
Magistrates bailed Alexander, from Hornchurch, Essex, and she’s due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on July 25.
