At about 10.30am on Monday, February 19, police arrested a 47-year-old woman at Encounter Bay, south of Adelaide.

Police will allege she submitted false applications relating to the early business closure grant and the small business flood recovery grant offered by the state government after the 2022-23 Murray River floods.

She has been charged with one count of deception (amount approximately $10,000) and one count of dishonest dealings with documents (amount approximately $6543).

She was bailed to appear in court on April 5.

The investigation is ongoing.
