Woman found dead in northern Victoria

A woman’s body has been found in northern Victoria, sparking police investigations.

Emergency services were called to an address on Campbell Road in Cobram in the state’s north at about 2.15pm yesterday.

There they found a woman’s body inside.

She is yet to be formally identified.

Police are working to establish the exact circumstances around the death and the investigation remains ongoing.

A 39-year-old Cobram man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The parties are believed to be known to each other.
