• The 2016 winner parked her van outside her cafe in Llandudno, North Wales
  • But council highways bosses have now slapped a warning letter on the vehicle

Apprentice winner Alana Spencer has been warned with legal action after her vandalised coffee van was left in the same spot for three months.

The 2016 winner had parked the bright blue vehicle outside her cafe in the coastal town of Llandudno, North Wales before council bosses issued the caution.

Alana, 30, fitted out the van following her success on the show, but it has since been targeted by vandals who smashed the windscreen.

Now, council highways workers have slapped a letter on the 196 Citroen H van stating that it is deemed to be an ‘obstruction’ to the highway.

She has been instructed remove the vehicle from the Llandudno promenade or face legal action.

Failure to comply would leave the council with no choice but to issue a notice under the Highways Act, it was added.

The Apprentice contestant, who opened a string of dessert shops following the show, is understood to be moving the van next weekend.

In a post, Alana added that she was ‘so upset’ by the damage caused to her van and hopes authorities ‘catch who did it’ after a tough year for businesses.

She said: ‘Hello all, it’s my van. Honestly so upset! We can’t get it until next week.

‘Been waiting on a part for the tyre that broke and that just arrived. Now we need to fix this.

‘Thank you to all the kind people who have been in touch. As if business isn’t tough enough at the moment.

‘I really hope they catch who did it because it’s just not ok!’

But Lord Sugar ended his business association with Alana three years later.

Alana responded saying: ‘I don’t usually get negativity on social media. I feel very lucky for that. But when you do, that negativity or those comments, it really is very upsetting and it really does hurt.

‘And I can’t imagine what it would be someone who gets trolled on a regular basis. It must be so horrific.
