Caitlin Jenner revealed she has never spoken to fellow transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney and never will – while hitting out at Nike over ‘woke’ partnership with the TikTok star.
Jenner, 73, who physically transitioned in 2017 has long been outspoken about her distaste for Mulvaney – having criticized her after the 26-year-old suggested ‘women can have bulges’ and that is should be ‘normalized’.
She has now doubled down on her position, calling the former Broadway star ‘fringe’ and ‘not good’ for the LGBT+ community.
‘The fringe is the worst thing that can happen to the trans community and the media only wants to report on that because of the sensationalization [sic] of it and honestly that’s got to stop,’ Jenner told the New York Post. ‘I try to be, for the LGBT community, the adult in the room. She is not. She is bouncing around all over the place. I have nothing in common with her.
‘I am glad the position I am at today that I can be a voice of reason about what is going on out there.’

Now, the former Olympian has taken issue with Mulvaney recent Nike partnership – which has received a backlash from conservatives.
‘As someone that grew up in awe of what [Nike co-founder] Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke!’ Jenner wrote on Twitter.
Mulvaney, who became popular with her Days of Girlhood series, posted videos and photos on her Instagram page in early April, tagging Nike Women, while linking to the products’ pages.
Furious feminists, and some men, slammed the decision by Nike to give the coveted sponsorships for a prominent women’s line to a transgender woman.
It is not the first time Nike has used a trans star in their marketing, launching their ‘Play New’ campaign in 2021 with Mara Gomez, who is the first trans woman to play in Argentina’s professional football league.
Mulvaney, who has not yet had gender-reassignment surgery, appeared in a pair of black skin-tight leggings and a white sports bra in the video, and could be seen striking yoga poses in a sunny backyard.
A video showed her dancing about the yard in her bare feet doing mock workouts while an upbeat song played over the performance.
Mulvaney has also received backlash on her Bud Light campaign, which has forced the company’s marketing VP to take a leave of absence.

The Mulvaney controversy began on April 3 when Bud Light sent her custom-made cans featuring her face. The gift served as the start of the since-confirmed partnership between the parties, further confirmed by an ensuing post from Mulvaney, in which she appeared in a swimsuit in a bathtub drinking a Bud Light.
Alissa Heinerscheid, the marketing VP, was hired to overhaul Bud Light’s marketing in June 2022 with the vision of freshening up its image.
But that took a disastrous turn when the partnership with Mulvaney was announced, sparking a boycott and knocking $6billion from the company’s value.
Heinerscheid is being replaced by the vice president of global marketing for Budweiser, Todd Allen.
Kid Rock was among the first to criticize the partnership and lead a boycott, with other conservative consumers, distributors and suppliers following suit.

Conservatives, including musician Kid Rock, criticized the beer company after they debut a can with Mulvaney’s face on it

Tennessee politician Marsha Blackburn wrote on Twitter: ‘Dylan Mulvaney, Joe Biden, and radical left-wing lunatics want to make this absurdity normal.’
Jenner – arguably the most famous transgender woman in the world – echoed Blackburn’s concerns.
‘Thank you for speaking out and having a backbone – one of the best senators we have. Let’s not ‘normalize’ any of what this person is doing. This is absurdity!’ she said.
