A nine-year-old girl has been found by police after she was snatched off the streets by a stranger.
The child was walking to school with friends in Warnbro, in the south of Perth, when the man picked her up at 8.45am.
Officers rushed to the scene when they were alerted to the incident – and found the girl outside a supermarket in Port Kennedy a short time later, not far from the area.

A man in his 30s is in police custody.
He is assisting police with inquiries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
