Husband, 29, is found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife by pushing her off Arthur’s Seat
A husband was today found guilty of murdering his pregnant wife by pushing her off Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh.
Fawziyah Javed, 31, was shoved from the famous hill in the Scottish capital by Kashif Anwar, 29, and fell around 50ft to her death in an act that also killed her unborn child.
Anwar was today found guilty by a jury at the Edinburgh High Court of murdering Ms Javed, 31. The Killer, from Leeds in West Yorkshire, denied the charge but after a week-long trial a jury found him responsible.
Anwar had walked ‘arm-in-arm’ with his pregnant wife to Arthur’s Seat after a meal to Wagamama before he suddenly pushed her off the Edinburgh landmark.
