A woman has passed out at her desk after discovering she had become an overnight millionaire after winning a $1million Lotto prize.
The lucky winner, from Wondonga near the border between NSW and Victoria, said she turned ‘white as a ghost’ before promptly fainting at work.
The Lott had tried contact the woman but couldn’t get through, instead sending her urgent emails telling her to check the website.
‘I frantically brought up the winning numbers from the draw, and my entries to see if I had won anything,’ the woman recalled.
‘That’s when I went white as a ghost, and I passed out. The two people around me at work started to panic.
‘I had to tell the very few around me what had happened because they thought something was wrong.
‘Once I came to my senses that I’d won division one, I yelled out, ‘Are you kidding me?! S*** yeah!’.’

She couldn’t be more grateful to win the division one prize, remarking that you hear about people winning around Australia but never know if it’s real.
‘I can definitely say it’s real! It’s real! ‘I can’t thank you enough,’ she said.
