Furious fans slammed the organizers of Louis Thomlinson’s disastrous Red Rock concert after over a hundred people were injured and seven hospitalized as a result of golf ball-sized hail.
The One Direction star, 31, had been due to perform at the outdoor venue on Wednesday night before the audience was hit by severe weather.
Concertgoers took to social media to slam the event’s organizers, revealing they were forced to take cover from the hail while sustaining injuries including broken bones and lacerations.
‘We were treated so badly at Red Rock by staff,’ one fan shared, alongside a picture of their injured foot and an ice pack.
‘They saw me fall and everyone pushing me to the wall and never helped just scream for everyone to move. They f****** knew there would be chaos. I’m so glad Louis security helped us.’
Some fans also claimed that Tomlinson has paid for the medical bills of concertgoers, but this has not been verified.

Shocking footage from the event showed droves of fans cowering from the hail, using cardboard boxes and trees to shelter from the storm.
Attendees shared pictures of the large hail online after the event, claiming it caused severe injuries while one described it as ‘the scariest night of my life’.
‘It started pelting people with hail at Red Rocks and my sister and I luckily found shelter under a sign,’ she added.
‘I am bleeding and have huge bumps on my head from the hail. Hoping everyone made it out safely.’
Another concertgoer tweeted an image of a large piece of hail in her hand while another shared video of hail and flooding pouring down a staircase at the venue, writing it was ‘straight out of a horror movie.’
Many fans hit out at the organizers for failing to prepare for the disaster, while other claimed Tomlinson’s own security were trying to help the situation.
Alongside a picture of her bruised and cut arm from the storm, one person claimed concessions workers refused to help her get to shelter, and ‘recorded us and laughed at us while I was sobbing and having a panic attack’.
According to West Metro Fire Rescue, seven people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and another 80 to 90 attendees were treated on the scene.
The National Weather Service in Boulder issued a severe thunderstorm warning Wednesday stating a storm would bring 50mph wind gusts and golf ball-sized hail. In a follow-up post, the forecaster also tagged the Red Rock amphitheater as the storm approached.

Louis’ show had already been delayed when the heavy hail began, and despite being given the all-clear to go ahead at 8:35pm, was delayed again just before 9:15pm.
Eventually, at 10:25pm, the venue tweeted: ‘Tonight’s show has officially been postponed. Please be safe exiting the amphitheater – we’ll have more information for ticket holders soon.’
Some fans also expressed their fury at Tomlinson being forced to cancel his long-anticipated concert, while others slated the event for failing to act quicker.
‘Golf ball-sized hail. Turns out it hurts. Quite a bit. Sorry your first show at Red Rocks got ruined @Louis_Tomlinson,’ one person wrote.
‘Should’ve cancelled at the first delay. Absolutely ridiculous. Louis must be livid,’ another wrote.
Another posted: ‘Scariest hail storm I’ve ever been caught in. This show should have been cancelled an hour ago.’

One concertgoer told local Fox affiliate KDVR that she and her friends took shelter in a toilet cubicle for over an hour before the show was finally cancelled, while another said she believed her finger was broken by the hail.
Louis team later shared a statement on his official Twitter, writing: ‘Unfortunately due to the current weather events in the area, tonight’s show at Red Rocks has been postponed. All ticket holders will be updated in due course.’
The singer then took to Twitter to write: ‘Devastated about the show tonight, hope everyone’s ok, I’ll be back!
‘Even though we didn’t play the show I felt all of your passion! Sending you all love!’
