Police are investigating the alleged suicide by gun of a man at a house in Nashville Tennesse, believed to be home to American Idol star Kellie Pickler.
Officers responded to a call at 1.21pm local time Friday of an ‘apparent suicide’, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department told DailyMail.com.
Spokesman Don Aaron said the incident involved a single gunshot and the victim was an adult male, but declined to give his identity.
Aaron said all others at the home were safe.
DailyMail.com understands Pickler lives at the $2.4million home with husband Kyle Jacobs, 49, a singer-songwriter. The couple do not have any children.

Residency and other records place the couple there, and ownership records say the home was last bought in 2010 by Pickler’s manager, Julie Boos.
Officers from the police department’s West Precinct and the Nashville Fired Department rushed to the initial call, and were later followed by a detective team and officials from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Pickler, 36, is a country music star with hit songs including Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful and Best Days of Your Life, co-written with Taylor Swift.
She married Taylor in 2011. The most recent residency records for the couple are from 2018 and place them at the home. Taylor also has an Alaska hunting and fishing license registered to the property from May 2021.
