A man wanted by police after two men were seen scuffling with a gun outside a children’s play centre has been found dead on a mountain.
Grant Barker was being hunted by police after the pair fought in Holyhead, north Wales, on April 10 before a noise that sounded like a gunshot was heard.
Police issued an appeal for information and warned that anyone found harbouring him would be arrested.
Today North Wales Police confirmed that Mr Barker, from Treseifion in Holyhead, was found dead on Holyhead Mountain last weekend.
‘We can confirm that Grant Barker was sadly found deceased on Holyhead mountain on Saturday,’ police said today.

‘His death is being treated as unexplained at this time, and we are working closely with the coroner.
‘The family are being kept updated. Grant was last seen on April 10 and was found 12 days later. We are trying to piece together his whereabouts after April 10, to help his family understand his final movements.’
The force, which said it was looking for the Holyhead man after the scuffle at the town, has referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

North Wales Police previously said it arrested three people following the altercation, with officers from an armed response unit seen swooping on a building in the aftermath.

However, the force said it had not yet found the gun involved and has warned anyone found ‘harbouring Mr Barker will be arrested’.
Footage of the strange incident, captured by a passerby, shows one of the men pulling the other out of a doorway before a loud bang can be heard.
North Wales Police said no injuries were reported.
