Horror as driver is killed in multi-car crash in Sydney – with traffic banked up for kilometres

One person has died after a horrific car crash in Sydney‘s north-west and two others have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries
The two-vehicle crash happened in Marsfield about 4pm Saturday leaving traffic backed up for kilometres as emergency crews attended the scene.
Epping Road has been closed between Vinimera Road and Balaclava Road.
Paramedics treated a male driver, 60, and male passenger, 84, from a Subaru and a female driver, 66, from a Toyota Camry.
The 84-year-old passenger died at the scene, while both drivers were rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in stable conditions.
Emergency crews blocked off Epping Road in Marsfield in Sydney’s north-west after the crash
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command have established a crime scene and specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit have been brought in.
NSW Police asked motorists to avoid the area as traffic delays are expected well into Saturday night.
