Fatima Yusuf Wright posted the scene on her TikTok on Monday that went viral with the headline: Splash Mountain Fiasco and a warning ‘Do Not Do This.’
Wright also posted the scene on her Instagram calling it ‘craziness the last weekend of Splash Mountain…thank God she didn’t get hurt.’
The video was taken as the flumes packed with riders made their fast approach to the edge, where riders have been flying over and striking poses for years.
The famous attraction will soon be shut down for a major renovation.

Wright’s video and comments garnered a mixed response with some condemning her for posting the young woman’s face and demanding that she take the video down while others were horrified and shared their own stories of panic.
‘She could have been killed. Never ever ever exit mid ride,’ one person wrote.
‘These attractions are no joke. By exiting you can seriously harm yourself and others. She is lucky she didn’t get hurt.
‘She could have fell into the gap between the log and the water. Those logs move quick and are heavy you can’t just push them out of the way. Glad she is ok.’
Another wrote: ‘Panic attacks can impel a person’s body to do things like this. It’s a real disorder and should be as acknowledged and respected as a physical issue like a handicap.’
‘Panic isn’t a choice… if she truly thinks she’s saving her life, she’s getting off no matter what! Feel for her and I’m glad nobody was hurt,’ someone else wrote.
