Mothers united to give Just Stop Oil a dressing down this morning, clashing with the eco-zealots over their tone-deaf disruption.

On Westway in Acton, west London, one parent castigated an expressionless activist as he stared mutely at her.

She told him: ‘I have got a baby in my car and we have to get to hospital.’

But the medical emergency had no effect on the eco morons who did absolutely nothing and carried on blocking the road.

A second mother with a pram joined the criticism, telling the clowns: ‘Who are you to decide who gets to gets to go? You’re not f***ing God. People pay to be on these roads. Don’t tell me you’ve never got in a f***ing car.’

The climate crusaders say they have 160 people out bothering motorists today.

Earlier they targeted Earl’s Court Road in the first of Friday’s protests.

Eight of them held up white placards, featuring childish scrawl of campaigning slogans.

One read ‘Life over oil’ while another bore the legend ‘I will not die quietly’

At one point fed-up bystanders pushed some of the group during their pious procession.

It was brought to a swift end – as it always does – by police who issued a Section 12 notice, clearing the road.

Eight protesters were also clocked in Piccadilly and given the same treatment just after 8.25am, as was the case on Euston Road at 8.31am.

As if the disruption could not get any worse, Animal Rising also got in on the slow march action in the capital.

Not deterred by the near-universal dislike of the type of demonstration, they copied the tactic but with pink banners to show how different they were.

Yesterday JSO were ridiculed by YouTube pranksters, who made them sit on the ground circled by counter-activists wearing Just Stop P***ing Everyone Off shirts.

It came after a number of tense exchanges in the capital this week, including when an angry motorist confronted eco-zealots by telling them to ‘f*** off and get a job’ in sheer frustration over their slow march.

Earlier, a pensioner slated the group and branded them ‘stupid idiots’ at the side of the road in Stratford, east London.

Yesterday saw tensions boil over into violence when climate protester Daniel Knorr, 21, from Oxford was punched to the floor by one motorist who blamed the eco-mob for crashing his car with his pregnant partner inside.

Today’s bizarre scenes culminated when the so-called shadowy JSPEO group camouflaged themselves in JSO’s traditional orange T-shirts to blend in with the do-gooders.

And as the climate change clowns began disrupting the traffic in Elephant and Castle, their new ‘nemeses’ struck.

Creating a ring of human bodies, JSPEO circled them and kettled them out of the street and on to the pavement.

There, the bewildered eco-annoyances sat subdued and cross-legged on the ground before one used a megaphone.

The woman, who said she was called Thea, said from the concrete floor: ‘I was arrested for peacefully protesting on the road.

‘We know that disruption isn’t comfortable, but it’s necessary,’

Then gesturing to their new arch-rivals, she added: ‘We meet this circle of people around us and we do agree about the same things except we have that sense of urgency.’

As she continues to say she is from Canada and has ‘family in the south of France too’ JSPEO interrupt to say they are allowed to leave.

A spokesman adds: ‘We are not holding you hostage.’

Earlier a fed-up bus driver gently nudged Just Stop Oil protesters along a road after their march disrupted his journey.

The motorist could be seen crawling in his vehicle behind around 20 eco-zealots edging them along the blocked street.

It came after an angry bystander spoke for much of Britain this morning as he berated Just Stop Oil eco-zealots clogging another of the country’s roads.

The retiree shamed the protesters as they did one of their now-familiar slow marches through Stratford Broadway, east London, just after 9am.

Two police officers were visible on the street and were seen telling the man they would be moving them on shortly.

But the legal order to get them out of the road – which was issued at 9.17am – did not come quick enough for them to escape them being given a piece of his mind.

The man yelled: ‘They’ve never done a day’s work in their life.

‘I haven’t worked all my life for the likes of you. Stupid idiots. What planet do you live on? Hope you rot in jail.’
