Not such a Happy Place! Brawl breaks out between two families at Orlando’s Disney World

An argument between two families at Orlando’s Walt Disney World has erupted in a mass brawl after a disagreement over a holiday snap.

The scuffle at the Disney theme park on Monday ignited after one family asked another to move so they could take a group picture in front of the park’s iconic 100th-year anniversary sign.

The shocking video showed the families laying into one another, pushing and throwing punches at ‘the most magical place on earth’. Around 10 members appeared to get involved in the chaos.

The fight raged on for several minutes with other visitors shocked by the scuffle. Others filmed the group fight while employees called security for backup.

Officials said later that one individual had to receive medical attention but that they would not press charges.

In the shocking video, the families can be seen screaming at one another and throwing fists.

Three individuals start pushing one another before other family members come and join. Each throws multiple punches and grapples with one another.

One man is eventually brought down to the ground and is prevented from getting up by others. Two men punch down on him and drag him along the floor, the footage shows.

Another family member standing with a small girl on the side then comes to join in as the ruckus continues. The families continue to grapple with each other.

Another later video showed workers and security eventually arriving to split the two groups up.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office said that at least one person received medical treatment. The officials said the individual declined to press charges.

Police said the fight broke out at around 2.30pm. One family member was asked if they would move. They responded by punching another family member in the face.

This is not the first time that a family brawl has broken out at Disney’s Magic Kingdoms.

In July last year a huge brawl broke out at the Orlando resort after two families disagreed on queue etiquette.

Clips from the scene showed the scale of the chaos as up to 10 people engaged in the fistfight, screaming a torrent of profanities while other families desperately tried to shield their children from the violence.

Several bystanders attempted in vain to intervene as the two groups relentlessly beat one another without reprieve, until Disney staff eventually managed to break up the brawl.

One man was hospitalized due to a severe facial laceration, while others sustained an array of smaller cuts and bruises.

The incident resulted in two arrests and a number of family members banned from the park.

Disney subsequently issued a warning at the end of last year following a rise in poor behavior in its theme parks in Florida and California.
