NSW South Coast: Four teenagers suddenly vanish as police launch desperate search

Four teens who were last seen on Tuesday morning are still missing as police continue a desperate search alongside members of the public to locate them.

Lorayer Kumar and Kaydee Pocklington, both 14, along with Sharnie Mitchell, 15, and Joel Payne, 16, are still unaccounted for after vanishing from the Ulladulla area on the New South Wales South Coast at 9am on Tuesday.

None of the teens returned home, sparking an investigation into their whereabouts by officers from South Coast Police District. 

The families of each child have expressed grave concerns for their safety because of how young they are. 

Descriptions of the four missing teenagers were released by police, along with what they were last seen wearing.

The four are suspected to have been travelling together via public transport to the Liverpool area in Sydney’s southwest after last being seen around 9am on Tuesday

Lorayer is about 165cm tall and has a Caucasian appearance and a thin build, with black hair and brown eyes. 

She was last known to be wearing black Nike pants and a hooded jumper, a black Fila puffer jacket and sneakers. 

Kaydee is about 165cm tall and is described as having an Asian appearance and a thin build with brown hair and brown eyes. 

She was last seen wearing a school uniform with black pants and a grey jumper. 

Sharnie is about 165cm tall with a Caucasian appearance and medium build with brown hair and blue eyes. 

She has a nose piercing and was last seen wearing a school uniform with black tights and Converse shoes.

Joel is about 165-170cm tall and has a Caucasian appearance and a medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes. 

He was last seen wearing a school uniform and a grey hooded jumper.

The four are suspected to have been travelling together via public transport to the Liverpool area in Sydney’s southwest.
