Pauline Hanson has called for the police to investigate Lidia Thorpe after more footage of the rogue senator clashing with patrons outside a strip club emerged.

The One Nation leader weighed into the saga on Monday night after Daily Mail Australia published new CCTV footage, showing Senator Thorpe repeatedly marching up to a man and pointing in his face outside Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club in Melbourne early Sunday.

Senator Thorpe has been slapped with a lifetime ban by the venue over her behaviour – the latest in a string of recent controversies.

Senator Hanson believes no one, including Ms Thorpe is above the law and has  urged Victoria Police and the Australian Human Rights Commission to look into whether action should be taken against her.

Ms Hanson is the second senator to call out the politician’s behavior after Jacqui Lambie earlier urged Ms Thorpe to get counselling.

It comes as Greens deputy leader Mehreen Faruqi condemned Ms Thorpe’s behaviour in an interview with ABC News Breakfast on Tuesday morning: ‘I think no one should actually behave in that manner.’

Ms Hanson said: ‘I think Victoria police should be carefully examining that footage to determine if Senator Thorpe has broken the law.

‘I think the people subjected to her abuse on the weekend should come forward and see that she is held accountable, because the Senate has shown it’s too gutless to do so.’

‘No one – least of all an elected representative of the people – is above the law and I think many Australians would be appalled at a senator abusing her privilege like this.’

‘While Senator Thorpe may not recognise the law or think other Australians belong here the fact is that we all share the public space, even if it’s a footpath outside a Brunswick strip club at 3am on a Sunday morning, and we have a right to be in it without being racially abused.’

The senators’ comments come after a new video was exclusively obtained by Daily Mail Australia on Monday afternoon.

The CCTV gives a bird’s-eye view of the rogue Senator’s actions as she screamed obscenities at a group of men outside Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club in north Melbourne after 3am on Sunday.

In the footage she can be seen walking out of the club and gesticulating wildly at a group standing on the street.

Video, filmed by a witness and first published by 7News on Sunday, revealed Senator Thorpe had said been pointing at the men and saying: ‘You’ve got a small penis’.

She then marches up to one of them, holding her face just inches away from his and saying: ‘you, you are marked’.

The CCTV footage now reveals the disgraced senator went back multiple times – despite claiming she was provoked.

She walks over to a waiting cab and then returns for more before a friend pulls her away.

Just as she is getting into a cab, she returns to aggressively film the men, holding the camera in their faces.

Daily Mail Australia revealed on Sunday night Ms Thorpe has been handed a lifetime ban by the strip club.

The venue’s general manager, David Ross, told this masthead her behaviour was ‘just unacceptable’ and that she had been walking up to punters earlier in the evening accusing them of ‘stealing her land’.

‘She was very animated and argumentative,’ he said.

‘I think to the credit of our punters who were out the front, they didn’t get aggressive and they were trying to settle the situation.’

‘I have never seen a racist-inspired problem in our club before,’ he said.

‘We have people from all nationalities coming into the club. I like to say that adult entertainment has universal appeal – it doesn’t matter what background you come from, it’s all entertaining. But she’s not welcome.’

Mr Ross has since written an official letter to Senator Thorpe’s office informing her of the lifetime ban.

‘Please do not attempt to enter the venue in future, as being refused entry may cause further embarrassment,’ the letter reads.

Senator Thorpe, who was out for a 50th birthday party with a group of three friends, had earlier told 7News that she was provoked and harassed by the men.

‘It’s sad people are utilising whatever they can to drag me down when we’re trying to discuss important issues in this country,’ she told the network.

Daily Mail Australia has repeatedly asked Senator Thorpe’s office for comment on the suggestions she was the one provoking punters.

In the footage published by 7News, one of the men calls her a ‘racist dog’ to which she responds ‘f*** you’ before a friend holds her back.’

She tells the men: ‘All I want to say to the black brothers there and anyone that we’re fighting…

‘Any black man that stands with the f****** white little c*** like that – yous (sic) can all get f***** too!’

One of the men asks, ‘how the f**** does someone get in parliament like you?’

She hits back: ‘We’ve been repressed all our f***** life in this country and you let this little dog speak…’

A member of the group told 7News that the senator was ‘out of control’.

It comes as the Senator faces a chorus of criticism from her peers.

Tasmanian senator Jacqui Lambie said there was ‘no way of getting out of this’ and suggested Ms Thorpe should get counselling during an appearance on Sky News on Monday.

‘I think that when you are out that late and you put yourself in that sort of situation, you better take responsibility for your actions,’ Ms Lambie said.

‘You are a politician, and sometimes we do muck up, but not taking any responsibility for that yourself is not very helpful.

‘If you do not think you’re in a good way, go and do what the rest of us do – go and get some counselling or psychology because quite frankly, something needs to be done.

‘But I would say this to Lidia: you just cannot keep doing this.’

Dear Senator,

I write to you regarding your attendance at Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club on Saturday evening, and the incident outside the venue after closing at 3am, Sunday April 16, 2023.

Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club is a local Brunswick club which prides itself on providing a relaxed environment and fostering harmony between patrons of all genders and from all ethnic and religious backgrounds; a fact the staff and dancers are very proud of.

With this in mind, and after reviewing security footage and speaking with staff and security, I have to inform you that you are no longer welcome at Maxine’s Gentlemen’s Club. Please do not attempt to enter the venue in future, as being refused entry may cause further embarrassment.

Yours sincerely,

David Ross
