Police have been slammed after failing to warn the public about a fugitive suspect after a father-of-two was stabbed.
A 17-year-old boy – who has been charged with attempted murder- escaped a local authority secure accommodation last weekend.
Prior to that, he was on the run for six weeks before his arrest over the stabbing of Danny Normal in Thetford, Norfolk, back in March.
A reporting restriction from the court meant the youth in question could not be named due to his age and Norfolk Police refused to offer a description of him.
However, now people are calling out the force for not revealing his name, arguing it could be endangering people.

Former Met officer Peter Bleksley told The Sun that the decision was ‘appalling, reckless [and] dangerous.’
He added: ‘The public deserves to know what this fugitive looks like.’
Norfolk Police have been approached for comment.
