• Andrew was snapped in a Range Rover on the Long Walk in Windsor

Prince Andrew has been photographed having a close encounter with a pooch – just one day after the new drama, Scoop, aired on Netflix.

Andrew was snapped in a Range Rover on the Long Walk in Windsor Castle today.

However someone’s dog, which appeared to be lost, wandered in front of the 4×4 as Andrew appeared to be pointing at the canine.

The pooches’ owner was seen searching for his beloved pet – behind the royal’s car.

Andrew was then snapped laughing as the man found his dog and walked over to the nearby grass.

The Duke was seen cheerfully waving while the dog is secured.

The interaction comes just one day after  Netflix’s film, Scoop, was released.

It centres around his Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis – something that was widely considered to be disastrous.

The new Netflix film, based on the book by ex-BBC producer Sam McAlister, presents the fateful interview in which Ms Maitlis grilled the Duke on the sex allegations made against him by Mrs Giuffre.

Scoop shows the moment the Queen’s son naïvely declared ‘that went well didn’t it’ after the interview and how he joked about meeting paedophile Epstein in New York.

Despite only being out for one day, Scoop has already gathered mountains of praise on social media, with some viewing taking to X just hours after it was first aired.
