Reese Witherspoon looked happy and relaxed as she took her French bulldog for a walk in her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee after officially filing for divorce from her husband of more than 10 years.
Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com show the Legally Blonde star, 47, dressed casually in black leggings, a tie-dye sweater, sunglasses and a baseball cap as she walked her dog, Minnie Pearl, around a park on Sunday with a friend.
Noticeably absent from her attire was her wedding and engagement bands, though the actress tried to hide her bare fingers by wrapping her dog’s leash around her hand when she was spotted by photographers.
The actress was also seen talking on the phone before her friend, just days after she and her estranged husband, Jim Toth, filed for divorce.
The celebrity couple cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the separation and must now take parenting classes for their 10-year-old son Tennessee.

Witherspoon and Toth, 52, had previously announced on social media that they were getting a divorce.
The Big Little Lies actress and the talent agent’s wrote: ‘We have some personal news to share … It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
‘We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.
‘Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.
‘These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.’
But there is no mess: ‘There is no drama,’ insisted People’s insider. ‘They love [their son] Tennessee and this is their focus. They will continue to co-parent amicably.’
Divorce papers obtained by TMZ reveal the couple agreed to a prenuptial agreement in March 2011.
Reese indicated in the court documents that the contract was valid, ‘providing “adequate and sufficient provisions” for their assets and debts,’ TMZ reports.
She also noted she will turn over their prenuptial agreement and a permanent parenting plan for Tennessee for approval from the judge.

Sources close to the actress have said that the divorce was a ‘badly kept secret’ as Witherspoon and Toth found themselves to be ‘two very different people.’
Someone close to the two, for example, told People that the ambitious producer ‘has her hand in a lot of pots’ and Toth ‘prefers less frenzy.’
‘They’ve been spending less and less time together while she was working,’ the unnamed source explained, noting that the longtime duo recently ‘found themselves with fewer interests in common.’
Reese has been described as ‘headstrong and focused,’ while Jim is said to be ‘more laid-back.’
The Pleasantville actress spent more time in Nashville in 2022 as she worked on producing the Apple TV music competition show My Kind of Country.
She also flipped a local house for close to twice the cost of what she paid for the home, while her company Hello Sunshine produced the Amazon series Daisy Jones & the Six.
The actress has also has kept busy filming season three of The Morning Show, in which she stars opposite Jennifer Aniston.
Meanwhile, Toth has maintained a seat on the board of directors at Flowcode, a tech company. Before that he left talent agency CAA to briefly work at the failed streaming platform Quibi.

A source also said that the partners ‘worked on’ their issues and arriving at divorce ‘took a long time.’
But it was shared earlier this week that Reese is ‘upset’ over the marriage ending.
Reese and Jim wed in March 2011 and soon after welcomed their son Tennessee, now 10.
Reese also shares daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
