‘Do you work in business? No, I’ a homeless person!’ PM Rishi Sunak strikes up an awkward conversation with man as he serves up food at shelter ahead of Christmas
Rishi Sunak has been filmed awkwardly asking a homeless man if he works in business as he served up food at shelter ahead of Christmas.
The prime minister visited a homeless shelter in London run by the Passage on Friday.
While serving breakfast to people visiting, Mr Sunak was asked by one man called Dean: ‘Are you sorting the economy out?’.
‘That’s exactly what I’m trying to do,’ the Tory leader responded, before asking the man if he works in business.

He said: ‘No, I’m homeless. I’m actually a homeless person. But I am interested in business, I like finance – it’s good for the city and when finance does well, we all do well don’t we?’
