‘Are you kidding me?’ Ron DeSantis slams Biden administration for considering a gas stove ban as he celebrates Florida’s tourism boom that came because he didn’t turn state into ‘Fauciville’

  • Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Tuesday lauded economic growths that came to the state by refusing to turn into ‘Fauciville’ during the pandemic
  • Also lamented that President Joe Biden wants to ban gas stoves
  • Biden administration is considering a nationwide ban, citing harmful pollutants
  • DeSantis also said ‘Santa Claus’ needs to stop getting toys from China because they are cheap and break easily

Ron DeSantis laughed at President Joe Biden for even considering a ban on gas top stoves during a wide-range press conference where he celebrated Florida‘s tourism boom but lamented of ‘cheap’ Chinese toys.

The Florida governor said that many people relied on gas stoves during hurricanes when power was still out in the states – and lamented that elites are trying to change the rules in order to reduce Americans to being treated like ‘peasants.’

He also claimed that the influx of tourism and permanent moves to Florida is due to his policies that prevented Florida from falling to some of the policies promoted by Dr. Anthony Fauci, like indefinite lockdowns and compulsory masking and vaccines.

‘It’s just crazy the number of people that are down here at any given time,’ the governor said. ‘Of course, people moving here, but also visiting here.’

He also lauded the money and economic activity that was brought to the state by people moving to Florida and visiting – especially throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

‘That would not have been possible, you know, if we had turned Florida into a Fauciville,’ he said.

The Biden administration is considering a nationwide ban on gas stoves, according to a Monday Bloomberg report where the Consumer Product Safety Commission cited harmful pollutants released by the appliances.

‘You see, the Biden administration wants to nix gas stoves. Are you kidding me?’ DeSantis chuckled during a press conference in Bonita Springs, Florida on Tuesday.

‘I want gas stoves,’ DeSantis added.

‘How many people had the hurricane come through, didn’t have power right away, but were able to turn on [their stove]?’ he said to a crowd gathered at Coconut Jack’s Waterfront Grille on Tuesday morning.

CPSC Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. called gas stoves a ‘hidden hazard.

‘Any option is on the table,’ he added. ‘Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.’

DeSantis’ Tuesday remarks come just one week after he was inaugurated for his second term as governor of Florida at the state’s capital in Tallahassee.

Following taking his oath of office, DeSantis delivered approximately 20-minute remarks where he vowed to make Florida the best state to raise a family and put the focus on education and parents’ rights.

The press conference Tuesday took specific and repeated aim at China and the governing Chinese Communist Party.

Not only blaming the CCP for ‘weakening western society, western values,’ DeSantis also slammed China for producing cheap toys that break easily.

The governor said that he and Florida’s first lady Casey Desantis bought their three children, Madison, 6, Mason, 4, and Mamie, 2, gifts to ‘thank them for being so nice’ during inauguration events last week.

He lamented, however, that the gifts broke because all the options for toys at the store were made in China.

‘All this stuff is made in China and it breaks. It’s cheap stuff,’ DeSantis said. ‘Santa Claus may need to not do Chinese toys.’
