Moment vile dog owner yanks on puppy’s lead before smacking it in the head – as the RSCPA launches probe

A vile dog owner has been caught on a doorbell camera repeatedly smacking a puppy in the head and yanking on its lead. 

The footage showed the man pulling what appeared to be a small bulldog breed on a lead as they walked along the street. 

The unidentified owner is seen crouching down as the pet refuses to move and says: ‘Come on, no come here.’

He then hits the puppy five times before shouting: ‘Move.’

In the distressing 23-second clip, the defenceless animal can be heard crying and whimpering.

The mystery man then goes out of view, but reappears walking in the opposite direction carrying the dog.

He then launches a foul-mouth rant and says: ‘I don’t want it no want it no more, he can f**k off.’ 

A shocked member of the public wrote on social media: ‘NAME & SHAME and get him stopped from owning dogs, if he does this in broad day in public imagine behind closed doors.

‘He said “I don’t want it”. I don’t think the puppy wants him neither.’

The video, which has been circulated online, has prompted the RSCPA to launch an appeal to find the dog owner. 

It is now hunting for the man after the dog was hit in the Hanley area of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire on Friday July 7.

Locals reacted with fury at the shocking attack.

Charlotte Percy said: ‘Vile piece of s**t. The poor baby.’

Carl Headland added: ‘Why do they have animals if they dislike them so much.’

Tobias Cook said: ‘Someone should do that to him.’

Richard Snatt fumed: ‘I know how I think he should be punished.’

An RSPCA spokesman said: ‘We are aware of this and are looking into it.

‘As such, we are unable to comment further at this time.’
