The sister of alleged quadruple killer Bryan Kohberger starred in a gory slasher movie where young students were brutally hacked to death on a camping trip.

Amanda Kohberger starred as ‘Lori’ in the low-budget thriller ‘Two Days Back’ in 2011 – with characters being stabbed and slashed with knives and hatchets.

It bares chilling similarities to the crimes that her brother is accused of, attacking four students as they slept in the remote college town of Moscow, Idaho.

The horror film shows the group being murdered one by one by a maniac killer who has won over their trust – but Kohberger’s sister is one of the few to survive the slayings.

Kohberger, 28, was arrested at his parent’s home in Pennsylvania on December 30, days after the family celebrated the holidays together.

Kevin Boon, directors of the film, told the New York Post: ‘You’re f***ing kidding me, her brother is that guy? Goddamn man, holy cow.

‘I remember her well. I directed the movie, wrote the movie, I cast her. She is a lovely woman, who was very nice. I liked her a lot.

‘I know she had tried to get into movies. On low-budget movies, there’s a bunch of scummy kind of guys, but she was smart enough not to go for that stuff.

‘There was nothing weird about her I cannot believe that’s her brother.’

Amanda, who now works as a licensed school counselor in Pennsylvania, went for the role in open auditions.

She was alongside her sister Melissa and parents Michael and Maryann when Kohberger attended his extradition hearing on Tuesday.

The film follows a group of students who go into the woods on a mission to ‘catch forestry students suspect of illegal foresting’.

However, students quickly go missing and are stabbed and left to bleed out, with one being hacked by a hatched and another caught in a bear trap.

One of them is even killed then bound to a tree, with multiple students being killed by a twisted peer who had an unknown connection to the woods.

But ‘Lori’, Amanda’s character, flees as soon as people go missing and is seen safely back on campus at the end of the film.

A new mugshot of Kohberger was taken after he arrived at Latah County Jail late on Wednesday night

Kohberger’s family are standing by him, releasing a statement to ‘promote his presumption of innocence’ while the alleged murderer himself said he ‘expects to be exonerated’ of the charges.

He arrived back in Idaho last night after being extradited from Pennsylvania and is expected to appear in court on Thursday.

The alleged killer has been charged with four counts of murder and felony burglary.

As soon as he appears in court, a probable cause affidavit will be released, which will reveal why police arrested him.

Kohberger left the Monroe County Correctional Facility at 6am after waiving his right to extradition in a hearing on Tuesday.

The killer was arrested Friday in connection with the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

Kohberger has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one of felony burglary.

Michael Mancuso, Monroe County 1st Assistant District Attorney, yesterday confirmed that they believed Kohberger is so desperate to return to Idaho to find out the contents of the affidavit.

A judge in Idaho has issued a gagging order on Moscow Police and legal teams in relation to the case, barring anyone linked to the case from talking about it.

Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson said: ‘Once he gets here, he’ll have an initial appearance with our magistrate.

‘They’ll deal with issues such as making sure competent counsel is representing him, and the case will be scheduled for hearings.’
