An Idaho man has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly stabbing to death the man believed to have killed his mother.
Michelle Luna, 52, was found dead on Tuesday in her Nampa, Idaho home. She had been stabbed to death.
The main suspect was Jesus Urrutia, 39. Some reports suggested Urrutia was Luna’s boyfriend.
Nampa police said that Urrutia was ‘known to the victim’, and was quickly identified as the suspect.

Shortly before 7am on Wednesday, Urrutia was found dying from stab wounds to his chest inside his car at a gas station.

Luna’s son, Raul Cuevas, 31, was arrested five miles from the gas station and charged with Urrutia’s murder.
‘Investigators are still figuring out why Cuevas fatally stabbed Urrutia at a gas station parking lot in Avimor, which is over 25 miles and several towns away from Nampa,’ the police said in a statement.
‘Deputies collected evidence and talked to Cuevas before taking him to the Ada County Jail, where he was charged with first degree murder.
‘The case is still under active investigation. Deputies and detectives are pursuing several different leads.’
