Frightening pictures reveal how close cop who escaped the ambush by killer conspiracy theorists came to death
Frightening pictures of the police car used by a cop who escaped the Queensland doomsday cult trio’s ambush with minor injuries reveal how close he came to death.
Investigators were seen towing the bullet-riddled car driven by Constable Randall Kirk during his escape from the property where two of his colleagues and an innocent neighbour were shot dead by conspiracy theorist killers on Monday.
The murderers – Gareth Train, his wife Stacey and brother Nathaniel – were shot dead by elite specialist police in a brutal firefight at the remote property in Wieambilla, three hours west of Brisbane, later that night.
Chinchilla-based Constable Kirk was one of four officers who went to the home to conduct a welfare check after Nathaniel Train had been reported missing.

After being graved in the leg by a bullet during the initial confrontation with the Trains, he was able to escape in the police car and called for help as he drove away.
Pictured being towed by on Thursday, the car had clearly visible bullet holes through its front and back windscreens
Its driver’s side window had been completely smashed through.
Constable Kirk’s daring escape came as Tara-based constables Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold were executed in cold blood by the trio.
Neighbour Alan Dare was also murdered when he went to assist after seeing smoke from a fire set on the property.
Another officer, Constable Keely Brough, was able to escape into bushland, where she waited for police backup to save her from being hunted by the Train family.

‘It means a lot to know the community cares for us all.
‘My wife and I have a young family and would appreciate privacy as we come to terms with this.’
A forensic team is combing the property for evidence, finding many bullet casings, in a bid to better understand what occurred.
Queensland Police Union president Ian Leavers said the Train family had a ‘calculated’ plan to inflict as much pain and injury as possible.
‘There was a sophisticated surveillance network which was put into place with plans and preparations by this ruthless murderous trio with a plan to murder police,’ he said.
