Horror as Woolworths worker is held up at knifepoint during daylight robbery

A Woolworths worker has been held up at knifepoint following a terrifying daylight robbery.

The female employee was ‘threatened’ and told to hand over cash by a man at the supermarket in Cartwright Avenue, Miller in Sydney’s south-west on Wednesday morning.

The armed thief then fled the scene with the cash on a push-bike.

The woman was not injured in the robbery, police confirmed.

The retail giant offered staff ‘counseling and support’ after the incident.
