Bananas rot very easily because the process of ripening is fast and mostly starts rotting after 4-5 days maximum, which creates a mushy texture and blacking outer peel. Well, to increase the shelf life, cover the banana bunch head with a cling film and store in a dry place in the fridge, this will increase the shelf life of the bananas. Also while choosing bananas go for greenish bananas if you don’t want to eat them immediately.
