According to sources, PSG sensation Kylian Mbappe is poised to get a fine from FIFA for his misconduct after France’s opening two World Cup group stage games.

The 23-year-old has been brilliant on the pitch for his nation in Qatar and already got three goals to his name after notching against Denmark and Australia.

Mbappe declined to talk to the media after receiving the Player of the Match award in both contests, which is required by FIFA rules.

ESPN claims that because of the 23-year-old forward’s actions, FIFA had no choice but to penalize him for breaking FIFA regulations.

Mbappe was presented with the post-match award but chose not to talk to the media after scoring and providing an assist in France’s 4-1 victory against Australia in their opening encounter.

The forward was informed that repeating his conduct would result in punishment, and both the Player and the French Football Federation were made aware of this.

Nevertheless, after accepting the Player of the Match award against Denmark on Saturday, Mbappe once more declined to speak with the media despite apparent orders.

Following the matches, M. Bappe neglected his media responsibilities and was due a fine.

Despite being named Man of the Match, he wouldn’t speak to the media in the mixed zone after either group-stage match, and as a result, he and the French Football Federation (FFF) were going to be fined.

The striker has since agreed to pay the entire fine. When he finally spoke to the media on Sunday, he said: “I have nothing against journalists; if I didn’t come to talk, it’s because I need to completely focus on the competition and not waste energy on other things.”

Mbappe also declared that he would cover the entire fine. The striker did not want to debate his future at the club level and hence wanted to limit the number of quotes he gave.

Not only is it unlikely that this will result in insightful responses, but anything the striker says could be interpreted as a diversion for the French squad.

The striker had previously expressed why he did not want to be associated with brands tied into Player’s contracts with the football federation.

He also did not want to talk about his image rights or questions related to the consumption of alcohol-related to those rights.

Personal Life of Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappé discussed his teenage sacrifices for football growth in a 2018 interview with Time, saying, “As a teenager, I did not have the typical teenage experiences like going out with friends and having nice times.”

However, Mbappé claims that despite losing out on a “normal” life, “he is living the life of his dreams.” After making his professional debut just over four years prior, he had amassed over 50 million Instagram followers.

Although he acknowledges that after initially coming to public attention, his “life has been utterly flipped upside down,” he claims to be “glad.”

Ethan Kylian, the brother of Kylian, signed an “aspiring” contract on June 25, 2021, with Paris Saint-Germain that would extend until 2024.
