He hit another racer named Miguel Oliveira and they both had to stop racing after just three laps. Everyone was really surprised and worried about Marquez.
After Marquez’s crash, people saw that his right hand was in a cast. This made them worried about how he was doing. The Repsol Honda team took him to a medical center to see if he broke a bone called the first metacarpal.
The doctors checked Marquez’s hand and found out that he broke a bone in it. They need to do more tests to know how bad the injury is and how to make it better. We don’t know yet if this will stop him from racing in future races.
