Drew Peterson remains in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections. He’s reportedly set to have a mental fitness check-up, as requested by his public defender.
Even if Peterson wins his post-conviction appeals, it doesn’t mean he’ll be released for sure.

During the interview, Banfield pushed Peterson to come clean and confess if he committed any other murders.
