Dorothy and Paley tied the knot in Kingman, Arizona, on May 12, 1932. However, his cheating caused problems in their marriage.

Nonetheless, she started to distance herself from Paley in the early 1940s, eventually leading to their divorce on July 24, 1947, in Reno, Nevada.

Paley’s turbulent love life ended with their marriage breakdown, opening the door to new possibilities.
