Lourdes Leon isn’t permanently banned from TikTok as she never partook in using the social media platform, unlike millions around the globe.

The Locke&Key singer believes that the platforms before TikTok, such as Vines, were much better as the content was original.

The singer said she has a complicated relationship with the social media platform, as in the past, she used to compare herself with others.

The 25-year-old also believes that the platforms such as TikTok have stopped people from having an individual identity, and now everybody seems to copy each other’s style and fashion.

While talking to Paper Magazine in 2021, the singer said, “I feel like there’s such a lack of personal style, like actual style that doesn’t have to do with trends or TikTok.

“Cause when something’s in, everybody is wearing it. Or everybody that’s trendy, but trendy for the masses. Because of TikTok and trends on social media, there are so many different iterations of the same jacket or the same… It’s like everything is copied by everyone. I guess that is fashion now, in a way.”

The Pop Icon Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon comes from a mixed ethnicity. Leon’s mother, Madonna, comes of French-Canadian descent, and her father, Carlos Leon, belongs to a Cuban ethnic group.

Born on October 14, 1996, the 25-year-old was raised by her parents in Los Angeles, California.  Lourdes shares six step-siblings, five from her mother and one from her father’s side.

The model graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School Music and Art, the same high school as Timothee Chalamet, who she was rumored to be dating at one point. The singer then enrolled at the University of Michigan to completer her higher studies.

Lourdes previously said that her mother, Madonna was super strict, and the list of things she wasn’t allowed to do was never-ending.

But at the end of the day, the singer admits if it weren’t for her strict upbringing, she might have messed up big time in her life.

Lourdes Leon’s father, Carlos Leon, is a Cuban actor and a personal trainer who first ventured into the acting scene in 1996.

The actor was born on July 10, 1966, in Havana, Cuba, to Maria Leon and Armando Leon.

The actor has worked chiefly in minor roles, with his breakthrough role coming in the TV series Oz.

Carlos Leon met Madonna in 1994, and the pair were rumored to be engaged, dating for three years until their breakup in 1997.

After breaking up with Madonna, Carlos went on to marry designer Betina Holte in 2013. The personal trainer and the designer welcomed a son named Meeka in 2015.

While talking about his relationship with Madonna in a 2008 interview on The Billy Bush Show, Carlos said, “I have a great relationship with all my ex-girlfriends, but especially Madonna.

There was a friendship, and there still is a friendship. If she needs to talk to me, I’m there, and if I need to talk to her, she’s there. That’s the way it goes.”
