Marvel Cinematics chief executive Stephen Broussard recently opened up about the possibility of Robert returning to the franchise. In an interview with Just Jared, he spoke about the storyline of phase four of the franchise. “After these first ten years of Marvel history, the torches are being passed — like the Robert Downey Jr. name is off the table. So it’s kind of like a new generation that’s come to the fore, whatever happened in the comics…” Broussard reiterated that phase four was about bringing these new characters into the MCU and telling their stories. Roberto’s time seems to be up.
Zoe Saldana (44) is also part of the Marvel universe and can be seen in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” next year. Does she have a future in Marvel productions? In an interview, she revealed: “I can never say no to anything – but that green make-up? I wouldn’t be sad if something like that didn’t happen again.”
