On July 18, Roberts announced on Twitter that Laign had finished her radiation treatments. However, the end of 2021 saw Laign’s initial breast cancer diagnosis, and she started chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
In a video posted to Twitter in February, Robin revealed Amber’s condition and said she would temporarily leave the morning show to be with her companion as she underwent chemotherapy.
Roberts, who has battled cancer herself, stated that she has worked to keep Laign optimistic when things get tough. Roberts received a breast cancer diagnosis in 2007 and entered remission.
Since 2005, Roberts and Laign have been dating. Despite being in a well-known relationship, Laign prefers to stay out of the public eye and keep her social media accounts secret. She is from San Francisco and is a certified massage therapist.
