Katrena Saleh is the younger sister of Laila Saliekh. It has been reported that Katrena is in her sixth and final year of medical school.
She is reported to be studying medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza. Saliekh moved to Edinburgh in 2022, while Katrena chose to remain at their home in northern Gaza to pursue her education.
Furthermore, Saliekh has launched a GoFundMe page to cover the costs of hiring an agency to provide her sister’s safe passage out of Gaza.

Katrena Saleh is a family person, and her close ones are worried at the time of this post.
Saleh was born in Ukraine along with her siblings. Laila is one of her sisters, and she mentioned that their family moved to Gaza when they were children.
Laila mentioned that for safety reasons, her parents initially returned to Ukraine in 2020, and then relocated to Sweden when Russia launched its full-scale invasion in 2022.
