Nelson Peltz wanted to cancel the wedding of his daughter Nicola Peltz (28)! The actress has been married to Brooklyn Beckham (23) since last year. The two have known each other since around 2015 – in early 2020, Nicola made the relationship with Victoria Beckham’s son (48) public. In April, the wedding took place at Nelson’s sprawling Palm Beach, Florida estate. But actually, he didn’t want the wedding of the two to take place!
As the American magazine Hello! reported that Nelson wanted to cancel the wedding because of guest list disagreements. That is also one of the reasons for a legal dispute among the three wedding planners involved. In addition, two of the wedding planners are said not to have paid back the deposit after Nelson fired them after two weeks. Nelson’s wife Claudia is said to have persuaded him not to call off the marriage because it would have ruined her daughter’s career.
In total, the wedding is said to have cost several million euros. Only Nicola wore two dresses by Valentino (90) at the celebrations, which lasted all weekend. Brooklyn and the rest of the family also wore their suits by none other than Dior by Kim Jones.
