Snack vs. Chef Netflix Cast
There will be 12 chefs competing for $50k thousand while creating snacks Hari Kondabolu and Megan Stalter. The show is hosted by comedians Megan Stalter and Hari Kondabolu. Helen Park and Ali Bouzari are the judges for the show who will be deciding who will take the prizes home.
1. Hari Cameron
Hari Cameron, who had tried his hand at The Buttery in Lewes, Delaware, after community college and landscaping did not work out, has made a big name as a chef.
At The Buttery, he worked his way from server to garde manager. Then, he started his first restaurant, a(MUSE.) in Rehoboth Beach, Maryland, in 2012.
According to Delaware Online, he will be one of the contestants in the upcoming Netflix’s Snack Vs. Chef. He said that he is not allowed to talk about the show, and Netflix has not responded to any comments.
However, the chef said that competing and filming were fun and challenging things that he had ever done.
2. Alison Manning
Alison Manning is the creator of Food Science 4 Kids. It is a program that teaches grade school students about food science.
She is the Project Green Fork Program Manager, a PC QI certified auditor, and a food influencer.
Viewers will be able to see her on Tv this year as the food science graduate of Alabama A&M University will compete in Snack Vs. Chef.
3. Lauren Jude
Lauren is one of the two food scientists who will be the contestant in Snack vs. Chef this year. She and Alison are alumni of Alabama A&M University.
She is a food scientist and the founder of Poppin’ Pantry. She shared a picture from Netflix on Instagram where her food was being judged and shared her excitement for the release of the show.
4. Christian Gill
Christian is the owner of Boomtown Biscuits and Whiskey. In 2019, he won Food Network’s “Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge, receiving a $25k grand prize.
He has competed in many other food reality television shows and thinks that he loves doing it.
He is also working on opening the Mighty Slider Bar in Blue Ash’s Summit Park while also focusing his time on competing in shows. He will be one of the 12 contestants in Snacks vs. Chef.
5. Scottish Francis
Scottish Francis, also crowned as Doughnut King by legend Gordon Ramsay has appeared on both MasterChef and Chopped. His connection with doughnuts began in his home in Scotland.
His grandmother taught him bout fruits, vegetables, and pastries, but he never had any culinary experience as he was working as a photographer and music video director until he ended up auditioning for FOX’s “MasterChef.”
6. Danny Kievit
Danny Kievit, also called Snack Daddy, is an award-winning culinary experience curator. He went to the Culinary Academy of Austin and had experience in the kitchen with foods at Austin hotspots Jeffery’s, Truluck’s Seafood, Castle Hill Café, Reeds Supper Club, and Moonshine Patio Bar & Grill.
As someone with the nickname of Snack Daddy, many viewers hope to see him top the game in the upcoming Netflix show, Snack Vs. Chef.
His followers are eager to watch the show as he shares the trailer on his IG handle while writing the caption about how he got a call from the production team, gave several interviews, and waited for some time to hear the good news that he would finally be competing.
7. Kevin Gregory
Kevin Gregory developed a passion for the food and beverage sector while working as a pastry cook at a fine dining restaurant. He moved on from pastries to work for largescale caterers, event planning companies, kitchen designers, and freelancing as a graphic designer.
According to his company’s website, the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration graduate operates a hospitality consulting business and a creative agency named KGRHC, specializing in the food and beverage sector.
8. Kristopher Edelen
Kristopher Edelen, also known as Chef KPE, is the founder of HOTPANnyc. The brand launched in 2014 and is a dinner collective exploring native post-modern cuisine.
The Culinary Institute of America Class of 2011 graduate claimed to have appeared in several reality TV cooking challenges, including one on the FYI Channel, where he won first place.
9. Lauryn Bodden
Lauryn Bodden, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a master’s degree in Sport Management from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, all while playing Division I soccer, started having an interest and love for food at a young age in her grandmother’s kitchen.
She now works as a Food Editor at The Spruce Eats, where she collaborates with a team of recipe developers and food writers to create delicious recipes and cooking instructions for people with different palates and levels of expertise.
10. Clara Park
Clara Park is a chef and a teacher who has competed in the Food Network’s show, Chopped.
On her website, she claimed to have gone to cooking school after trying various career paths.
Sharing the show’s trailer, she expressed her excitement and talked about how she saw a casting call two years ago that asked, “Do you love snacks?” and she answered yes to it, which ended up here in the show where she met 11 other amazing chefs.
11. Luna Contreras
Luna Contreras is a Mexican native who was in charge of two highly regarded Mexican restaurants in San Francisco: Mamacita and Padrecito.
During her tenure, she received two three-star ratings from the San Francisco Chronicle and a Top 100 Bay Area Restaurants recognition from the San Francisco Chronicle five years in a row.
Talking about her experience in the show, she mentioned getting friends from the process and growing more as a transwoman. She explained it as a crazy adventure and scary steps but thanked the production team and snack fam for the experience.
12. Sandy Dee Hall
Sandy, who grew up as an orphan, had never had access to good quality food until he was an adult, started a passion for it, and became a chef in NYC. He realized that access to quality food was the biggest hindrance to learning more about food, so he founded Source(ed).
The organization teaches the next generation about sustainable farming and healthy eating. They aim to start the first fast-food restaurant that will be locally sourced from farms but at the same price point as a Mcdonald’s.
Snack vs. Chef Release Date and Time
Snack vs. Chef is set to release on November 30, 2022. It will premiere on Wednesday on Netflix.
The contestants will be using the snacks and recreate them by using their skills and knowledge of science. At every step, the difficulty level will be harder, and only the deserving will go home with a $50k grand prize.
