According to TMZ on Wednesday, former Detroit Lions cornerback Stanley Wilson Jr. passed away after falling at Metropolitan State Hospital in Los Angeles County this month. He was in his forties.
The report states that he was moved to the hospital on February 1. He has been in Police detention since his August arrest on vandalism-related allegations.
According to reports, he passed away while being admitted to the hospital.
Wilson had an autopsy done on his body, though the results were not immediately known. At this point in the investigation, there is no evidence of misconduct.
