British princes’ wives have the same taste in fashion! Both Princess Kate (41) and Duchess Meghan (41) are known for their choice of chic outfits. The fashion styles of the two royals are very similar, which is reflected in comparisons of their everyday attire as well as their evening gowns. The two come from middle-class backgrounds and only got to know each other through their love for their royal husbands. Meghan and Kate once wore the same designer dress without even knowing each other!
Fashion designer Diana von Fürstenberg recalled: “Once upon a time there were two beautiful women who married two kind and handsome princes…”. And these same ladies once wore the same dress she designed. Meghan presented the navy mini dress version at an event in Los Angeles in 2012, pairing it with gold jewelry and pumps. Two years later, Princess Kate wore a black, floor-length version of the “Zorita” dress at the Palladium Theater in London. The Princess of Wales wore her hair in a low bun and accessorized with diamond earrings.
When Meghan wore the dress, she was still portraying her role as Rachel on the legal series Suits. At the time, she did not even know the father of her children, Prince Harry (38). At the time, Princess Kate was only engaged to Prince William (40) and did not yet have a title. After all the current events, are the two so happy to be fashion twins?
