One Chelsea youngster has been spotted in first team training ahead of their return to action in the Premier League against Manchester United.

This has been shown by pictures on the 5th Stand App, and injury issues in the squad right now could actually mean he has a chance of featuing in some capacity in that game.

Of all the negatives that came from their embarrasing draw to Burnley at the weekend, arguably the worst moment came minutes from the end when the score was already at 2-2.

Josh Acheampong has been seen in the squad a number of times this season due to injuries that have plagued the defence up to now.

Acheampong spotted in Chelsea training

An attacking threat has been key for Chelsea in the full-back positions this season, and the inclusion of Acheampong would certainly help maintain that balance going forwards.

It looks as if this idea is at least on the mind of Mauricio Pochettino, with the youngster involved in first team training ahead of the visit of United.

It remains to be seen whether Gusto is back in time for tomorrow’s game, with him being pictured as part of the players doing some work in the gym ahead of the match.

He could not be seen in photos on the pitch though, and this may see the manager need to rethink in order to pick up their first win in the best part of seven years in the Premier League against United.
