Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson popped up with a vital moment on Saturday afternoon for Ipswich Town.
Omari Hutchinson, 20, is currently enjoying a great year of development during a season-long loan at Ipswich Town.
The skilful right-winger was named on the bench today during Ipswich’s Championship game at home to West Brom.
Despite not starting, the Chelsea loanee made a huge impact as a substitute and scored a 93rd minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw. He showed great composure in a crowded penalty box before firing in a low finish
It means Kieran McKenna’s side remain firmly in the conversation for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Local media waxed lyrical about the impact of Hutchinson’s cameo performance for Ipswich on the weekend.
The East Anglian Daily Times wrote on Hutchinson: “Improved his decision making massively since he first joined. Had a big impact off the bench, looking really lively and delivering some dangerous crosses. Then, in one moment he needed to be selfish, he was, and it earned Town a valuable point. 7/10.”

Hutchinson’s in and out of the XI for a competitive Ipswich this season, but he continues to make key contributions in a promotion bid.
The quick attacker now has four goals and three assists across all competitions this campaign. Hopefully, he can boost those numbers by the end of May as well.
Incidentally, Foobtall.London recently reported that Hutchinson’s agents expect Chelsea will soon be in talkss about him getting a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
We’re certainly excited to see how close he is to the Blues first team when he returns to Stamford Bridge for pre-season.
