With Mauricio Pochettino really struggling at Chelsea right now, the club are being heavily linked with Sporting Lisbon manager Ruben Amorim.
It is currently being reported that Chelsea will consider hiring Ruben Amorim if they are forced to sack Mauricio Pochettino.
However, should the Blues fail to bring the 39-year-old in, they have at least five alternatives to him, journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport.
Under Pochettino, Chelsea are in the bottom half of the Premier League table, which is why his future has come into doubt recently.
The Argentine will now be desperate to beat Newcastle United tomorrow to alleviate some of the pressure.

Chelsea have five alternatives to Ruben Amorim
According to Jones, Chelsea will not be short of options if they decide to get rid of Pochettino and cannot lure Amorim to Stamford Bridge.
On Chelsea’s current manager situation, he said: “Winning the FA Cup could salvage something from this season and help the owners restore some pride. It’s been a tough year, though. I’m not certain even that would cement his [Pochettino’s] place at the club for next season because the bond with the fans isn’t there, the style of football and consistency isn’t there, and the league form has been a let down.
“Amorim is consistently cited as the man they would be most interested in if they need a replacement, but that one is not straightforward. If it can’t happen, I think Chelsea already have a list of at least five other names in mind.”

Which other managers are Chelsea interested in?
It has been claimed that former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Julen Lopetegui is one name Chelsea could consider if they part ways with Pochettino.
Lopetegui, who has also managed the likes of Real Madrid and Sevilla, has been out of work since leaving Molineux.
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi is also being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Right now, though, it is just speculation. If Pochettino can take Chelsea back into the top half of the table and go far in the FA Cup — his team are already in the quarter-finals of the competition — he may yet keep his job.
Lose against Newcastle tomorrow, however, and you would really have to start fearing for him, if you are not already.
