One manager seems to be a huge fan of a Chelsea player.

Chelsea have a talented squad and some members of it could be sold this summer.

Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Conor Gallagher are just a few candidates to go.

Lukaku and Kepa already spent time away from Chelsea last season after joining AS Roma and Real Madrid on loan respectively, while Conor Gallagher’s contract expires next year.

As a result, all of their futures are currently up in the air right now.

Chelsea player could be heading to Serie A

Chelsea have a couple of players attracting interest from Serie A clubs right now.

Armando Broja is said to have caught AC Milan’s attention, while Napoli are believed to be keen on bringing Lukaku in on loan.

Such a move would see him reunite with former manager Antonio Conte, who has had a lot of good things to say about him recently.

“Romelu is a strong player, like [Victor] Osimhen an excellent footballer, there are no comments to make and you hope to always have them on your side and never against,” the Italian was quoted as saying by Calciomercato.it.

Antonio Conte could do Chelsea a huge favour amid interest in Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea are trying to offload Lukaku permanently. They have been for a while, with the striker not part of the club’s plans, but have only been able to find loan moves for him.

It could be a similar situation with Napoli. Serie A teams are obviously not swimming around in money like their Premier League counterparts.

However, Conte has just joined Napoli and is a huge fan of Lukaku after working with him at Inter Milan.

Maybe, then, he will be able to convince Aurelio De Laurentiis to stump up the cash for the 31-year-old.

According to GiveMeSport, Chelsea value Lukaku at £38m. It is not a crazy amount of money, so a deal does look possible this summer.

However, given that Lukaku is in his thirties now, you suspect Napoli and other clubs will still be reluctant to pay that fee for the Belgium international.
