Chelsea are ensuring they sell plenty of players this summer to fund what will end up being another busy window of signings.

They have already raised plenty of funds from player sales, with Lewis Hall’s loan move from last season now being made permanent.

Ian Maatsen and Omari Hutchinson have also moved on the fellow Premier League sides, with them making plenty of profit on both.

It is not just first team players who look set to be on the move, with the academy also not being safe from exits this summer.

One player whose exit was already confirmed was Charlie Webster. Despite the fact he very recently signed a new contract with the club, he has joined Burton Albion on a permanent deal.

Chelsea loan Dylan Williams to Burton Albion

Now, it seems as if he will have one familiar face with him in League One, with them confirming on their website that they had completed a deal to sign Dylan Williams.

The report goes on to say that they have a view for a permanent deal at the end of the season.

A number of key figures such as John Terry and Wayne Rooney have been previously complimentary of him, following his time in the academy and spell at Derby County.

He was described as ‘explosive’ during his time at Pride Park, and was included on the bench a handful of times for FA Cup and EFL Cup games the Blues took part in last season.

Chelsea signing top young players

However, it can be expected that this process could begin to occur on a more regular basis after the club have made it clear that they are looking to bring in some of the top young players from around the world before their rivals.

The highlight additions up to now have been Kendry Paez and Estevao Willian, who will both join up with the squad next summer.
