Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has now shared what he really thinks of the current side in comparison to some of their biggest rivals.

Talking to ‘The Obi One Podcast’, the Belgian ranked the Blues up against the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and arch-rivals Tottenham.

The Blues are currently just about in the top half of the Premier League table, with many believing before their game this weekend that they could have dropped into the bottom half.

However, a big point against Manchester City saw them remain in sight of the European places, and the performance showed they have more than enough on their day to step up and reach those positions.

With results and league positions not looking bright in the past two seasons, there have been many who believe some of their biggest rivals have completely leapfrogged them.

One of those sides who has been mentioned there is Spurs, who currently occupy the final Champions League spot at this stage.

Hazard however was simply not having it that their London rivals could be seen as a better club than the Blues right now.

He said: “Manchester City are better than Chelsea, Liverpool are better than Chelsea. Tottenham? Nah! They play good football, but you know Tottenham!”

The only match between the two sides this season certainly lived up to the billing as one of the feistiest matches in the Premier League right now.

Nicolas Jackson scored a hat-trick as the Blues beat Spurs 4-1 away from home, marking easily the best moment for supporters of the campaign so far.

It is fair to say that the story may be slightly different when they welcome Ange Postecoglu’s side to Stamford Bridge later this season, as they look to rescue a place in Europe at the end of the season.
